2007 State Tournament Results

Wrestlers from the Olympic Wrestling Club registered an unprecedented performance in Atlantic City at the New Jersey State wrestling tournament over the weekend of March 2-4.  Olympic had 21 wrestlers qualify for the tournament (the highest number of qualifiers ever for the Club) and remarkably, 10 of them medaled!  We couldn’t be prouder of our guys!

 We’re also extremely proud of our coaching staff led by our Director of Wrestling, Florian Ghinea.  Florian, Nino Stelian, and Ken Perry have worked hard to get the kids ready to compete both physically and mentally.  The results of their efforts are obvious.

The OWC system has proven successful as we’ve produced 6 State Champions and a total of 26 State Medalists since 2004.
