TECHNIQUE & COMPETITION CAMP

Dates: Monday – Thursday, July 14 - 17

Location: Olympic Wrestling Club, Wyckoff, N.J.

Hours: 9:30-12:30pm Grade School (thru 7th grade)
2:30-5:30pm High School (including 8th graders)

Camp fees: $150 per student (2nd family member $125)

SCHEDULE

20 minutes – Warm-up exercises…stretching, tumbling, action-reaction drills

20 minutes – Technique drilling…what moves work best for you?

40 minutes – Instruction…takedowns, throws, moves from the top, escapes, and footwork. How to make the 5 points moves!

80 minutes – Matches…each wrestler should get 2 matches per day

20 minutes – Strength training and conditioning…push-ups, pull-ups, dips, and rope climbing competitions
