So, it’s done! Our name has officially changed to Olympic
Wrestling Club. We wanted our new name to reflect our attitude and teaching
style and we believe ‘Olympic’ does exactly that. To commemorate our new name
we’ve had T-shirts created in all sizes from adult XL to youth L featuring our
new logo. Short sleeve shirts cost $18 and the long sleeve ones are $22.
Please stop in and pick one up while we still have your size.
We also want to take this opportunity to announce we’ll be
starting our FREE STYLE sessions as soon as the scholastic season ends in
mid-March. Florian and Vali are two of the best free style wrestling
instructors in New Jersey. Between them they’ve won 8 Romanian National
Championships, several International Championships, and Vali was ranked as high
4th in the World. While we’re still finalizing the details, we can
advise we’ll be open on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays, Our times will remain
the same, namely, Juniors at 6pm on Sundays and 6:15 on Mondays and Wednesdays.
High schoolers will start at 7:30pm on Sundays and 7:45pm on Mondays and
Wednesdays. We plan to work free style on Monday and Wednesday and Sunday will
remain scholastic. We’ll do our free style instruction through July and start
back up with scholastic three days a week then.
In closing, we wanted to again remind you of our
Recruitment Incentive Program. The way it works is for every two new students
who join for three months as a result of your recommendation you'll get one
month of free instruction. If you get four kids to join we’ll give you two free
months, six students and you’ll get three free months, and so on. It’s an easy
way to earn some free months and it’ll help keep the Club full of new students.
Lastly, both Florian and I want to again congratulate all
of our wrestlers. These young men have worked hard and many of them are seeing
the sweet results of all of their effort. We’re proud of all of our wrestlers –
both Juniors and high school alike - and look forward to seeing them perform in
the states!
Good luck to all our guys!
Florian and Scott
